Abstract

This reflection article aims to present elements of the critical theory of Law developed by Alan Norrie, emphasizing the notion of legal antinomialism and its theoretical position in the ontology of dialectical critical realism by Roy Bhaskar. The work begins with an exposition of the concept of Law and advances to an explanation about the development of Critical Realism. The second and third sections deal with the notions of stratified ontology, emergence, social practices as intermediary entities and the transformational model of society. From the fifth section, the concepts of antinomial social practice, formalism and legal praxiology are developed.
