Abstract

The investigation currently being carried out here has as its aim to explain the different analyses held at the moment regarding the citizenship, which indicate the importance of the concept and support the role that the idea has taken again during the last years in theoretical debates and in concrete strategies ofaction of the democratization processes.  In the same way, sorne ideas and concepts are contained on the existing alternatives, from different approaches, where the importance of the citizen -individual in the new situation, the diversity and the autonomy of the social subjects is outlined, where people place the center of attention. We can say that this center of attention is: specific, cognitively oriented and detailed and it is nota center of attention that hurries around matters of high level of generality.
