Abstract

Aníbal D'Auria is, today, one of the most important academics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the field of philosophy of law and political philosophy. His analytical training at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, together with his rigor in the philosophical field, has led him to develop his thinking in different axes, among which the relationship between law and anarchism, the theory of the State and the philosophy of law, among others, stand out. In the interview that follows, we address—at least in an introductory manner—some of these axes, among which, in my opinion, the semantic-pragmatic precision of the word criticism in the philosophy of law and in philosophy in general stands out. His thinking, in addition to the value of the content developed, shows us a method applicable to different disciplinary and scientific fields, which is summarized in asking ourselves about the conditions and implicit – or unsaid – assumptions of the object of study that is being addressed. The methodology used consisted of the formulation of open questions, which Aníbal D'Auria not only answered precisely, but also explained and exemplified sufficiently.
