Abstract

This paper explained the abetting in Panamanian Criminal Law. From the Criminal Code of Panama, to the main Panamanian authors on General Criminal Theory. The need for the abettor not to have control of the fact was also explained, because otherwise, he would be the author and not a participant. For this, review techniques from Panamanian and international bibliographic sources and from national law sources were used. In the same, it was concluded, among others, that, in Panama it is an abettor the person who intentionally determines another (the instigated or perpetrator) to carry out an intentional criminal act, including the attempt of that crime.
