Abstract

Great part of the work of Foucault has been dedicated to the concrete displacement of the official status, regarding the truths oriented from the power, towards a very determined alternative, revealing discourse,. This work tries to, in an emphasized manner, to set out what in Foucault was the treatment ofthe subjectivities, the ethics, and the forms of subjetivation in theold age, concretely on the Greek and Greco- eman periods. From this exegesis~ and taking into account the works of Foucault in courses and conferences about the critic, the modernity and the illustration, being next to his death, 1 da reto propase that there is certain return to the Greeks, whereas a form to assume the world ethically is to configure an ethos, that according to my suspicion, and the reading of two fundamental texts, can be 11the critic" or the 11dandyism".
