The socio-political transformation to which a considerable mass of chile´s territoty-body-nation is betting, invites us to question our ethics and political positioning when it comes to producing knowledge. The author makes a critical analysis of the reality of social scientists in the Latin American region, questioning the production of knowledge and its sustainability in a global context capitalized and goberned by technicality. Postulating the importance of learning to sustain the questions and uncertainties in the transition period whthout abandoning a critical approach thar incorporates transindividuality and decoloniality.
