The tragic, but brilliant 20th century was a long period of time permeated by enormous political and economic problems, by the dawn of wars and by profound scientific advances, in which, in addition, it was left as a historical fact, the implementation of the conjugation of Charles Robert Darwin’s theories on natural selection and the approaches of his cousin Charles Galton Darwin on the natural process that must be followed to eradicate human deficiencies. This conjugation of theories and approaches were called by Charles Galton in 1883 as "eugenics" and whose application determined from the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century that humanity should be decanted into its most suitable races. The aim of this work, through documentary research and a qualitative method of analysis, is to expose that the philosophical theories of improvement of the human race gathered in eugenics and used in the twentieth century, preponderantly by the Nazi regime, the scientific advances in the codification of the human genome, in the techniques of assisted human reproduction and in pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, whose development and consequences, the term liberal eugenics was coined.
