Abstract

The article is the product of a multidisciplinary and inter-institutional research, the result of the alliance between the University of San Buenaventura Medellín and the VID Family Center - Work of the Mariana Congregation of Medellín. It arises from a concern about the way in which the institutional reality of the head of the family is addressed, both in the political and business spheres. To address this reality, we started with a qualitative research model where an approach was made to the population from a questionnaire to identify the roles and perceptions regarding the exercise of motherhood and female leadership, specifically, when it comes to working mothers. The results of the research, allow us to obtain a psychosocial view of the way in which the role of mother and family articulation figure is exercised.
