Abstract

This is a reflective article that addresses the theme of organizational intervention within cooperatives as an alternative to study the particularities of these entities, in order to understand their complex reality to transform it in the long term. Through this work, it is intended to point out the potential of such practice in cooperative entities, through the theoretical contrast of different thinkers, based on the distinction between organizational intervention and consulting. It advocates the exercise of organizational intervention within cooperatives, because it allows to promote its philanthropic character, and its solidarity and cooperation philosophy. Finally, there are several characteristics by which the organizational intervention has more benefits than consulting, in the case of these entities of the solidarity economy.
