Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the elements that determine the business stability of Micro-enterprises in the commercial sector in the State of Nayarit (Mexico), which in the future would make the generation of strategies to strengthen them possible. The main structural characteristics regarding the business permanence factors are identified, which identify the components or factors that create conditions on the business durability of MSMEs –and determine their success, or failure–. The results obtained from the instrument and the analysis of the data collected show that the micro-enterprises studied are at a relatively low level of business permanence, and carry out their commercial activities without established organizational policies.
